Last week we were very honored to receive the visit of His Excellency Jonathan Hargreaves, British Ambassador to Kosovo, and Mr. Vladimir Jovanovic, Policy Officer in British Embassy in Kosovo.

This visit was the occasion to explain how the activities of the Center for Peace and Tolerance contribute to fostering dialogue, understanding, and cooperation between Kosovo’s diverse communities. During the meeting, the CPT shared its ongoing initiatives aimed at promoting peacebuilding, human rights, and democratic development, highlighting its commitment to creating an inclusive environment where all communities, regardless of ethnicity or background, can coexist peacefully and with mutual respect.

His Excellency Jonathan Hargreaves, the British Ambassador to Kosovo, expressed support for the CPT’s work and emphasized the importance of continued international collaboration to strengthen democratic institutions and human rights protections. He also underscored the UK’s commitment to supporting efforts that promote stability, inclusivity, and the rule of law in Kosovo. Ambassador Hargreaves reiterated the need for sustained dialogue and cooperation between local civil society organizations and governmental bodies to ensure that the rights and needs of all communities, including minorities, are addressed effectively.
